Responsibilities

• Conduct online tutoring sessions for elementary, middle school, high school, or adult learners
• Teach English grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and pronunciation
• Assist students with homework, essays, and exam preparation
• Provide conversation practice to help students improve fluency
• Prepare or review lesson materials and exercises
• Track student progress and provide feedback to students and/or parents
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
• Use online tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, or digital whiteboards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Education, Communication, Linguistics, or related field (preferred but not always required)
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage
• Strong command of spoken and written English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace
• Ability to engage students and explain concepts clearly

Required Equipment

• Laptop or desktop computer
• Stable high-speed internet connection
• Headset with microphone
• Webcam

Preferred Skills

• Experience teaching ESL students
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms
• Ability to teach international students (US, UK, or AU curriculum)
